Issa Philly blessing, modasuckas!

Comedian Michael Blackson paid (pun intended) a visit to alma mater– John Bartram High School in Southwest Philadelphia-on March 20th to donate $10,000.

The ‘Wild n Out’ star’s generosity was spurred by inspiring kids to have a larger vision for their future.

“I try to tell these kids every time, ‘Listen man. You can be from the streets but you don’t have to be in the streets.’ You know?” Michael Blackson told NBC Philadelphia. And you have to think about ways of getting out of the street. And hopefully I got to them today,” he said. “Sometimes they need people like me to come and talk to them.

According to NBC Philadelphia, Blackson graduated from Bartram high school in 1990 and launched his stand up soon after.

Trump’s attempts to dismantle the Department of Education and “defund public education” was another reason Blackson pulled up to preserve his alma mater.

Now he’s urging his fellow comedians to do the same.
