Anxiety may be calling rapper Doechii but she’s helping to find a remedy.
And it’s not just by making slappin’ lyrics (even tho we know this Grammy winner can and DID) but by connecting with others with anxiety through a mental health hub.
Doechii launched her Anxiety is Watching Me online platform on March 28th.
Birthed out of her new song ‘Anxiety’ that details her struggles coping with her mental state:
“I get this tightness in my chest. Like an elephant is standing on me. And I just let it take over. Anxiety keeps on trying me.”
The Anxiety is Watching Me platform offers coping tools, resource sites like The Trevor Project and Crisis Text Line, and anonymous messenger board for words of advice.
The mental hub also features Queer, Black, Latino and Native centered programs for anxiety.
That’s right! DEI is all up and around this digital platform. And I’m not mad at it because it’s helping everyone.
