Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce swapped her track and field kicks for boots on the ground to tap into relief efforts Tuesday in homeland Jamaica.
The iconic sprinter delivered care packages to residents in St Elizabeth and Westmoreland parishes; communities most affected by Hurricane Melissa.
Through her Pocket Rocket Foundation, she’s teamed up with major brands (i.e Grace Foods, Ziggdchemical, First World Dental) to provide most needed items in the care packages.
“I’ve spent a few days on the road across St. Elizabeth and Westmoreland. Many families have lost everything,” Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce writes on Instagram.
Prayers continue to go up for Jamaica’s recovery. π―π²πΊ
