Okay, Let’s Pack Those Cheese Buses! Quinta Brunson Launches Fund for Free Field Trips in Philly

Let me tell y’all something, our good sis Quinta Brunson’s giving card never declines, especially when it comes to Philly.

Our fave fictional teacher launched The Quinta Brunson Field Trip Fund, which raises money to provide free field trips to schools with underserved students to allow for out-of-classroom experiences.

Field trips were some of the most memorable parts of my own education growing up in Philadelphia,” said Quinta Brunson in a statement.

“They opened my world, sparked my creativity, and helped me imagine a future beyond what I saw every day. Going somewhere new shows you that the world is bigger and more exciting than you believe, and it can shape what you come to see as achievable. I’m proud to support Philadelphia students with experiences that remind them their dreams are valid and their futures are bright.”

Let’s roll out of this room…

The Fund aims to remove any cost-related hurdles associated with providing field trips for 117,000 students in Philly public schools.

Yes…we are all in for directing those cheese buses to Philly landmarks, museums and parks for the kids. If you are as well, donate some coin to the Fund by clicking here.
