Mommy Making Moves! Allyson Felix and Pampers Launch First Nursery at Paris Olympics

Allyson Felix is standing on baby bizness.

The most decorated female track Olympian ever is running to Paris on a different mission this time–making sure athletes babies are cared for.

Allyson Felix has teamed up with Pampers to launch the first ever Pampers Nursery in the Athletes Village at 2024 Paris Olympics.

“I just knew how difficult it was to compete at the top level after I had my daughter, and some practical things were really hard. And so when I joined the Athletes Commission of the IOC, I really wanted to be that voice for athlete moms, and just take away one less thing for them to worry about in the pressure of competition,” Felix said in a statement.

According to IOC Athlete’s Commission, the nursery is for diaper-wearing babies. It offers a calm, comfortable space, a private room for breastfeeding, play rooms and changing tables.

Allyson Felix is also partnering with Pampers to donate one million preemie diapers to NICUs across America.

Allyson Felix has been an advocate for women’s rights and maternal health, since retiring from track and field in 2022.

The 11 time Olympic medalist (seven are gold, btw) is winning at this mission too–hence Melinda French Gates gifting Felix $20 million grant to address Black maternal health needs.

As always Allyson is leading the pack in advocating for our health.
