Rapper Sexyy Red beat out the Easter bunny in spoiling the kiddos this year.
Sexyy Red, St. Louis native, handed out Easter baskets filled with candy and plush toys during her free Easter carnival in St. Louis on Friday.
“I just wanted to make their day,” Sexyy Red told NPR. “l’ll throw a little Easter shindig and give some baskets away, a little amusement park, toys, games, snacks.”
St. Louis NPR reports, hundreds of fans were treated to carnival rides, petting zoo and photos with Sexyy Red and an iced out Easter Bunny (oh kay Bugs) to launch her foundation–Giving is Sexyy.
The Giving is Sexyy charity aims to support single parents and incarcerated families with housing and programs to escape violence in St. Louis.
“It’s really nice for her to come back and give back to the community, come back to our hometown,” said event attendee Kiera Alexander, a longtime fan. “To see the kids happy, smiling in St. Louis, it’s amazing. It’s everything.”
