At Your Service! LL Cool J, Chris Paul Play Waiter at Charity Fundraiser

Imagine LL Cool J giving a rundown on the dinner specials while doing his signature lip lick. And asking what you wanted to order?

This Zane-like fantasy became a reality (in a PG-13 kind of way) when the Doin’ It rapper played waiter at Chris Paul’s Celebrity Server dinner to raise money for his family foundation Sunday.

LL Cool J wasn’t the only celeb to don a waiter jacket. Olympic sprinter Allyson Felix suited up for the LA Clipper’s cause. LA Clippers coach Doc Rivers took orders from host Chris Paul for a change.

Speaking of delegating like a boss. Chris was doing just that during a pre-game server session, on the proper way to pour wine.

For what not to do refer to former baller Sam Cassell.

ET co-host Kevin Frazier emceed the charity dinner while his colleague Nischelle Turner waited tables.

Attendees also got an added treat when Chris Paul and LL Cool J played an impromptu lip sync battle of Snoop’s Gin & Juice.

The Chris Paul Family Foundation “provides resources that enrich and strengthen healthy development of strong communities.”

Kelly Price may be too booked for  R&B Divas: Hollywood but she made time to spoil Big Easy residents this week.

Capitalizing on Essence Fest buzz, the balladeer joined the bishop and first lady of Beacon Light International  Cathedral in Louisiana to lend a helping hand to pamper Hurricane Katrina survivors.

Or hands.

As there are a lot of moving parts to her service oriented mission. Let’s start with the beauty makeovers. Walk-ins were treated to press and curls and faces getting beat by volunteers.

Plates of free food. I mean, need we say more. Well, if you insist…

There was also free health and mental screenings. Even Beacon Light Bishop Darryl Brister took advantage of it by getting his blood pressure checked.Or as Kelly calls it “leading by example.”

All supplies for the Give Back to New Orleans event was donated online and through the church.

Wonder why Lil Mo and Dawn couldn’t make it…
