Need another reason to believe Spidey is ah-mazing? Check this out: he tapped into his world famous senses and discovered the Bay Area’s Big Brothers and Big Sisters needed extra hands beautifying Shoreline Park in Mountain View, Cali earlier this week.

Jamie Foxx, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield put in work planting, spreading mulch and installing a drip irrigation system for burrowing owls, alongside kids from mentoring orgs Big Bros/ Big Sis and YMCA. The spidey cast volunteer effort is part of Be Amazing goodworks campaign.
Jamie looks like he made some new friends at the park, or more like getting reaquainted with old ones since the super crooner/Oscar winning actor is Big Brothers and Big Sisters celebrity ambassador. Below is a love letter Jamie penned about the value of the org for young kids.
Big Brothers and Big Sisters carefully pairs volunteers in mentoring matches with children from single-parent, low-income and military families or households where a parent is incarcerated. Once matched, volunteers, kids and their families get ongoing professional support. Studies prove these long-term mentoring matches help kids improve in school, their behavior and self-esteem.
It’s nice the cast got together to do this. What better way to promote a super hero movie than be one yourself. Take that, Captain America.
