Rapper Flo-Rida made a surprise appearance at Miami Edison Middle School today. The “Wild Ones” rapper’s hometown visit was in celebration of new grads perfect attendance record. He coordinated with Get Schooled—non-profit that strives to motivate kids to stay in school by helping them meet goals and rewarding them with celeb ambush visits–to takeover the junior high.

And that he did. Announcing on the loud speaker that he was in the building the M.I.A artist had a meet and greet sesh, took selfies with burgeoning high schoolers and gave an auditorium talk.
