Rappers Flo Rida and Tyga spent this weekend turning up in Dubai for an autism awareness event.

The Autism Rocks Festival–an annual family-friendly day of activities, including ziplining, laser tag and crazy golf (where do I sign up?) to raise money for autism research–is meant to kickoff April’s Autism Awareness Month.

The “I Don’t Like it, I Love it” rapper and his co-headliner had the crowd at The Dubai Outlet Mall (transformed into Autism Rocks Arena) bumping with new and old jams.

While Flo-Rida had their heads bopping to “Right Round,” Tyga dropped “Ayo” on ’em.

Autism Rocks, a London based charity org, boasts Drake, Prince, Lenny Kravitz and Michael Buble have helped raise money to study the development disorder that affects 1 in 68 people that impairs social skills.

Who says charity events aren’t the hottest tickets in town?

Kevin Hart, Kylie Jenner, RHOA Kandi Burruss and VH1 Black Ink Crew Cast Spread Holiday Cheer

kevinhartchrispaul

For those lacking the holiday spirit theme of spreading goodwill, you might want to follow the lead of these generous celebs.

Funnyman Kevin Hart took time off his many jobs (in my Phaedra Parks voice) to treat 150 lucky LA-based kids with Toyz ‘R Us gift cards worth $100. Hart joined Clippers player Chris Paul that urged kiddos to FIRST buy something for others and then treat themselves. The pay-it-forward lesson also applied to Paul and Hart’s kids that joined in on the giving.

Watch Hart’s Oprah moment here.

Not to be outdone in the generosity department, newbie couple Kylie Jenner and rapper Tyga handed out toys at LA’s Childrens’ Hospital.

Meanwhile, down south, “Real Housewife of Atlanta” Kandi Burruss held a “Warm Hearts” coat and blanket drive. Through her Kandi Kares Foundation, team Burress (including Riley and step-daughter Kaela) collected donated blankets and childrens’ coats to distribute at a local shelter.

Back East, VH1’s “Black Ink Crew” plans to send 100 jail inmates holiday care packages. Given that one member of the tat squad may be facing hard time (O’Shit) it’s not surprising this would be their cause to herald. If you want Black Ink to send a care package to an inmate, here’s what you do: 1. Follow @blackinkmag on Twitter 2. Repost Black Ink Magazine, issue 2, on Facebook 3. Send IG info, inmate info to blackinklove@gmail.com

Okay, so Tyga may not be donning the candy cane suit and white beard. And he’s about 50 pounds lighter than ol’ Saint Nick, (and who knows if he’s the right complexion for the part) but the spirit, the giving spirit he exhibited at the Children’s Center for Cancer & Blood Diseases of L.A. Children’s Hospital this past weekend was shown throughout.

The Young Money rapper TYGA (acronym for Thank God Always) took a break from fiancee and Kim Kardashian’s┬ábestie Blac Chyna to visit his No. 1 fan Isael Gomez, a 16 year old in need of a kidney transplant. Not only did the “Still Got it” lyricist surprise Isael with his presence and rallying support to find a donor. But PRESENTS, yes kiddies, Christmas presents.

And what did Santa Tyga bring Isael and the other fifty-nine kiddos?

Why, the joy of music of course. He gifted them with Flips Audio headphone X speakers, Music Bullet Speakers along with clothing from his company Last Kings.

It’s important to support nonprofit organizations like Children’s Hospital Los Angeles–they take care incredible care of our community, so I am honored to help make a difference for these children who are from the city I grew up in and to help encourage them and to bring a smile to their faces. – Tyga

By far the best gift.

….Meanwhile in Oklahoma City, OKC baller Russell Westbrook’s Why Not? Foundation hosted a Christmas party for foster children in his native city.

He teamed up with Citizens Caring for Children, a non-profit that provides clothes, shoes, books and other essentials for kids in state custody, to hand out gifts and brand new shoes.

More and more children are placed into foster care each year and to be in a position to bring the joy of Christmas to some of these kids is truly a blessing. I am in a unique position to be able to give back to a community that has been so supportive of me and help children in need -Russell Westbrook

I guess Tyga isn’t the only one playing Santa, at least Westbrook rocked the hat.
