Emmy-winner Uzo Aduba, better known as Crazy Eyes on “Orange Is The New Black” has officially signed up for this spring’s Boston Marathon.

The Mass native is lacing up her running shoes for the Claudia Adams-Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber. Whew!!  She’ll be one of 500 participants trying to raise $5.2 million through the Dana Farber Marathon Challenge.

“Running the Boston Marathon has been a lifelong dream, and I am proud to be supporting Dana-Farber as I make this dream come true on April 20th,” says Aduba.

Uzo will be running the challenge alongside cancer survivors, patients, family and friends of those affected by cancer. All with the same goal of raising money for innovative research to combat the disease through the Barr Program.
