Lance Gross laced up his walking shoes and joined hundreds at Exposition Park in LA on Sunday to take part in Alive Together: Uniting to Prevent Suicide walk.
The ‘Our Kind of People’ star shared the trail with ‘The Bachelorette’ contestant Eric Bigger to take 2,160 steps to honor 2,160 lives taken daily by suicide.

Did y’all know that 2,160 people take their lives to suicide A.DAY?! WORLDWIDE. Wow. Also that suicide is the 10th leading cause of death, according to CDC.
These statistics are jaw-dropping. All the more reason to have more mental health services like Didi Hirsch, suicide prevention center with 24/7 crisis services.
Didi Hirsch holds annual global walk event to get survivors and suicide prevention advocates a chance to share experiences.
They do just that. After the walk there are guest speakers sharing personal stories, memory trees, community building games and memorial quilts.
